APPLICATIONS: NDI/Japan Diamond Dressers are extensively applied in turning, profiling and form-dressing to produce a ture, sharp surface on the face of the grinding wheel. These precision tools are widely used for stock removal to re-condition and restore the cutting edge of grinding wheels. GUIDELINES FOR APPLICATION: 1.)Use the appropriate size of diamond for the tool according to the type and dimensions of the wheels being dressed. 2.)Minimize friction by approaching the surface of the wheel at a slower rate when dressing. Avoid direct, sudden contact. 3.)Incline the tool at 10~15 degree to the wheel radius in the direction of the wheel rotation. 4.)Rotate the dresser at intervals for balanced dressing and prolonged tool life. 5.)Do not exceed 0.04mm in depth per pass when dressing.
